A 37-year-old woman from Llandudno has been jailed for three years and four months for her role in a drug supply operation involving the criminal exploitation of a child from North Wales.
Carla Stubbs was sentenced at Caernarfon Crown Court after pleading guilty at an early stage.
Stubbs was described as a local facilitator in the operation, acting as a go-between for a teenager from North Wales and Steven Moorcroft, who was supplying multi-kilo quantities of MDMA, ketamine and cannabis from Merseyside into North Wales.
Police said Stubbs encouraged the child to become involved in the operation as the organised crime group sought to expand its drug supply network across North Wales.
She was also in regular contact with the teenager while they travelled to Merseyside to collect drugs and received payments through her bank account from both the child and Moorcroft.
Moorcroft was sentenced to nine years and nine months in prison last month. The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was sentenced earlier this year at youth court and received a detention order.
Stubbs is the seventh person to be convicted as part of Operation Noriker, a complex investigation by North Wales Police's Central Priority Crime Team into the supply of Class A and B drugs between North Wales and Merseyside.
Detective Inspector Kris Williams said the sentence underlined that North Wales Police would not tolerate the criminal exploitation of children and would continue to pursue those involved.
