The music of Tina Turner is returning to the stage when Totally Tina comes to Rhyl Pavilion Theatre on Friday, October 9th, 2026.
Described as a recreation of a Tina Turner concert, the production is led by Liverpool performer Justine Riddoch, who has been performing professionally for around 30 years.
The show is now in its 17th year, and features many of Turner's best-known songs, including Proud Mary, Nutbush City Limits, Simply the Best, Private Dancer and What's Love Got to Do with It.
The production also includes a live band and dancers, with songs from Turner's rock and soul influences including Jumpin' Jack Flash, Get Back and It's Only Rock and Roll.
Justine first became widely known after winning ITV's Stars In Their Eyes in 2002, performing as Anastacia. When that character's recording career moved on, she created Totally Tina and began building a tribute to one of her musical heroes.
She says she spent years studying Tina Turner's performances, paying close attention to her voice, movements and stage presence in an attempt to recreate the energy of her live shows.
Totally Tina has toured extensively across the UK and Europe, including an appearance at the Cover Festival in Davos, Switzerland, where Tina Turner lived for many years.
The production has also picked up a number of industry awards, including National Tribute Awards for Best Female Artist and Best Choreography, as well as a Lifetime Achievement Award. It was named Best Tribute Act at the North Regional Entertainment Awards in 2020 and the National Entertainment Awards in 2021.
The Rhyl performance promises a mixture of Turner's biggest hits, covers and duets, with the emphasis firmly on recreating the atmosphere of one of the most energetic live performers in music history.
After 17 years, Justine says the aim remains the same — to celebrate Tina Turner's music and leave audiences feeling as though they have experienced a Tina Turner concert.
