People considering a career as a firefighter are being invited to meet the team and try out some of the equipment as North Wales Fire and Rescue Service prepares for a future recruitment campaign.
A series of events will take place across North Wales this autumn ahead of planned recruitment for full-time firefighters, which is expected to begin in 2027.
The events are aimed at anyone interested in finding out more about the role, whether they are seriously considering becoming a firefighter or are simply exploring their options.
Online and face-to-face Meet the Team events will take place in Dolgellau, Caernarfon and Wrexham.
There will also be Experience Days in Rhyl, where visitors will be able to try on fire kit and get hands-on experience with some firefighting equipment.
Those attending will have the chance to meet firefighters and other staff, find out more about the recruitment process and learn about the physical demands of the job and how to prepare for fitness testing.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service says it wants its workforce to reflect the communities it serves and is particularly encouraging people from underrepresented groups to consider a career with the service.
Anyone attending a face-to-face event must be aged 18 or over.
