North Wales Police says there will be an increased police presence in Llandudno this weekend because of a planned pro-Palestine march on Saturday.
The force says it has been working with the organisers to help ensure the event passes peacefully and without incident.
Police say they respect the right of people to protest peacefully, while also having a responsibility to prevent crime, maintain public order and keep the community safe.
Officers are expected to be visible in Llandudno over the weekend to provide reassurance.
North Wales Police has not provided further details on how many people are expected to attend.
Members of the public who have concerns while the event is taking place are being advised to speak directly to a police officer.
