More than 1,000 education, training and employment opportunities will be brought together at a free event aimed at helping young people plan their futures in North Wales.
Coleg Cambria, Grŵp Llandrillo Menai, Bangor University and Wrexham University are joining forces with more than 25 employers for Pathways to Success at Venue Cymru in Llandudno on Saturday, October 17.
The event, which runs from 10am to 3pm, will give young people and their families the chance to find out about university and college courses, apprenticeships, training and employment opportunities available across the region.
It comes against a backdrop of concern about the number of young people who are not currently in education, employment or training.
Latest Welsh Government figures estimate that 15.1% of 16 to 24-year-olds in North Wales were NEET over the three-year period ending December 2025. That was the highest estimated rate among Wales's economic regions.
The organisers say bringing education providers and employers together could help young people better understand the choices available to them and find a route that suits their interests and ambitions.
Coleg Cambria Chief Executive Yana Williams said the event would give young people and their families the opportunity to access information, advice and connections in one place.
Grŵp Llandrillo Menai Chief Executive Officer Aled Jones-Griffith said young people across North Wales had talent and ambition, but needed clear and accessible pathways into their future.
Bangor University Vice-Chancellor Professor Edmund Burke said young people faced a complex range of choices around education and employment, while Wrexham University Vice-Chancellor Professor Joe Yates said helping people build careers close to home could also benefit communities and local businesses.
The event is aimed at pupils in Years 10 to 13, college students considering their next step, young people who are unsure about what they want to do, and parents and carers.
As well as meeting education providers and employers, visitors will be able to take part in interactive activities, explore different careers and qualifications, and get advice about their next steps.
The event is bilingual and free to attend.
