A man has been arrested after a tragic crash on the A55 near the Conwy Tunnel resulted in the death of a local woman.

Last week's crash involved an HGV and a car, which also left two other family members seriously injured and hospitalised.

A spokesperson for North Wales Police said: "“We can confirm that a 57 year old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He has been released on police bail whilst our investigations continue.”
